How does the security deposit work?
When you book a tool, a refundable security deposit is held on your payment method. Once you return the tool in good condition, the deposit is released back to you within 3-5 business days.
What if a tool breaks during my rental?
Normal wear is expected. If damage occurs beyond normal use, the security deposit may be used to cover repairs. We recommend documenting the tool’s condition at pickup.
How do I pick up and return tools?
You’ll coordinate directly with the vendor. Most pickups happen at the vendor’s location. Return the tool by the agreed time to avoid late fees.
For Vendors
How much does it cost to list tools?
Listing is completely free. We only take a 15% commission when you make a rental. No monthly fees, no listing fees.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed through the platform. You’ll receive your earnings (minus the 15% commission) via your chosen payment method.
What if a renter damages my tool?
Security deposits protect you. If damage occurs, you can forfeit the deposit to cover repairs. Document everything and report issues promptly.
